TheLeigh on Sea Horticultural Society
The Leigh-on-Sea Horticultural Society was founded in 1925 and is one of the oldest Societies in the county. Our members enjoy a whole range of activities which include four Flower Shows a year, a programme of talks in the winter months, coach outings to places of horticultural interest and a newsletter with informative articles by and for the members.

To Join Our Society
Membership of our Society costs £10.00 per annum for a single membership and for a couple £17.50. If applying by post add £1.50 for postage.
•All members enjoy:
• A copy of our Year Book, which contains full details of all the activities of the Society.
• Free entry to four horticultural shows.
• A copy of our newsletter “The Link” produced and circulated five times a year. Each issue contains topics of interest to members and details of shows and reminders of forthcoming events.
• Meetings are held during the winter months, invited speakers talk on a variety of subjects related to horticulture.
• Entrance to meetings is £2.00, which includes tea and biscuits.
•A Garden Trail, organised on a bi-annual basis, when members of the Society open their gardens to other members.
Programmes for this event cost 2.00 and are available at the preceding show.
•A full programme of Coach Outings are organised throughout the year, and include visits to places of horticultural as well as historical interest.

•Shows and meetings are held at The Leigh Road Baptist Church. Marguerite Drive.
